Default Elementalist or Assassin?

I've recently learned how to do the FoWSC and found it kind of amusing as something to do when I'm bored (I run UA and VoS).

So, I was wondering for SCs (UWSC and DoA Trenchway) which is the better pick to learn? Elementalist or an Assassin?

(Sorry if this is in the wrong section, Wasn't sure where to put it)

There are a few more possibilities as Assassin, and you don't need personal cons to maintain SF, which can get expensive fast as an Ele if you're low on cash.

Most dungeon runs require sins, however, if you're more into being the bonder than the Terra, ele would be the way to go.

Eles don't tank in DoA. A/N are the primary tanks for DoA Trenchway. When going for records one of the A/N is exchanged for a ranger tank.

I'm aware, I meant Ele in TrenchWay as the Bonder.

Also, I'm assuming Bonder is the easier build to learn? Although I'm sure being able to run some of the harder routes as a sin would be more useful?

i dont know much about uw/fow so i wont comment,

but for doa, mesmer is the best position to start as. and most teams use 4 mesmers so if your guild is forming and you have a mesmer ready then you have a shot at 1/2 of the spots.

emo in doa and (assassin or ranger) tank are not really starter roles. I would recommend doing a few runs as a mesmer and paying attention to what the emo and sins are doing before attempting those jobs yourself.

all that said, you will need to join a guild that does doa trench-way (or any general mesmer spike) because pugs don't form those kinds of runs

i'd say for fow you're better off making a sin but for general SCs mesmers are used in pretty much all of them.
